Welcome to Sheltered Housing at the Manchester Jewish Housing Association

What is Sheltered Housing?
Sheltered Housing is designed to support individuals seeking assistance to live more independently. Whether it’s navigating the challenges of aging, facing homelessness, or residing in accommodation that is no longer suitable, we welcome applications from those in need.

Who is the service for?
Our service caters to single adults or couples aged 55 and above, primarily focusing on individuals of the Jewish faith, culture, and ethnicity.

How does it help?
Our service, facilitated by dedicated Scheme Managers, provides not just accommodation but also guidance in crucial areas such as setting up and maintaining a home, claiming benefits, and honing domestic skills. For more vulnerable individuals, we offer tailored assistance to help them maintain their tenancies. For those transitioning from hospital stays, our support ensures a smooth move towards independent living.
